I have as yet no settled opinion on the abortion controversy other than its a personal decision beyond my purview. However, I chose to raise several points with a local editorialist whose initial letter is followed by my thoughts:

After seeing one-too-many antichoice letters to the editor recently – notably written by men who appeared to have a remarkably sketchy, limited understanding of the workings of a female’s reproductive system – I was compelled to respond.
