She startled. Drenched in freeing herself, now outside her coffin, she scanned her surroundings. Aching with effort she squirmed, testing each part of her body for pain and ability. Clouds allowed sunlight to bake her resurrection with healing warmth. Arms fully freed, she raised them heavenward shaking away sweat and struggle. Hearing no further threats, she searched for a route to freedom. A glassy dark eye confronted her; its reflections revealing her beauty.
CLACK!
He captured her first colorful flight as she joined the other monarchs of the sky.
