A less secure way of using Vote by Mail is the Drop Box. Here you complete your ballot, seal and sign your envelope, then drive by the nearest Ballot Drop Box and slide it in. Your vote rest in a physically secured container like a mailbox until collected at some point by a team of two elections workers who deliver your envelope/ballot combination to the Registrar of Voters office for processing in the same way as all Vote by Mail ballots whether deposited, dropped, or mailed. Remember, these Drop Boxes have no surveillance to spot mischief or mistakes.
