The Mass Formation of Climate hysteria has been fading somewhat recently under the sunlight of critiques offered by many scientists who have chosen, like the Covid dissidents, not to align with the cabal of governments, NGOs, and GROs (Great Reset Organizations). These “cancelled” climatologists provide facts that inconveniently belie the Truth of climate activists. Thus, the most strident of these activists, Greta Thunberg, has recently attempted to transmute the ever heavier lead of her advocacy for the death of modern Western life into the newly attractive gold leaf of Palestinian liberation. Again, facts both historical and current can be ignored for the sake of a more noble, if unfortunately illogical “truth”. She easily overlooks the butchery of women, children, elders, and other innocent civilians both Israeli and non-Israeli to focus on the most inefficient “genocide” in history. Palestinians, as those formerly from Jordan, Syria, etc. are now called, have (under an admitted form of apartheid) been so ethnically cleansed that they have expanded their populations in the West Bank and Gaza exponentially. While many Palestinians blind themselves with their hatred of Israel (that may be somewhat justified by historical events, some of their own making), Hamas is farsighted in the grooming, recruitment, and training with the assistance of Iran and others of a enlarging tranche of rapidly maturing new young terrorists. The most basic domestic policy of Hamas appears to be the provision of just enough benefits to the population which they govern—with that population’s consent—to enable ongoing production of new young men who can be converted into bestiality towards infidels, especially Jewish ones. Thunberg can perhaps be forgiven for her immature and unsophisticated alchemy of historical understanding. Our elected representatives cannot.
The original members of our Congressional Squad have been vocal and demonstrative in supporting Palestinian “replacement” of Israel by the unspoken atrocities of Hamas. The core intent of Palestinians, whether represented by Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah, the PLO, or any of the other splinter terrorist groups vying for superior extremism, is to eradicate the existence of Israel, and those non-Arabs who now live there. No “two state” proposal has been seriously proposed or supported by any of the Palestinian groups in any recent times, nor have they abandoned their official written policy of the destruction of Israel, a state established and recognized under international law after self-formation in 1948. Hamas seeks to do so via murdering all Jews, as they demonstrated on October 7th. But Squad members Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ayanna Pressley, supported by newer members such as Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Greg Casar, and Summer Lee, have labelled Israel as genocidal against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Clearly this is a fabrication based in self-delusion. None of Israel’s intents or actions in the attack on Hamas in Gaza have been consistent with ethnic cleansing. Terrorist cleansing, yes. Israel understands, as none of us can, that every single member or active supporter of Hamas must be killed, removed from Gaza, or imprisoned. As we have learned with ISIS and Al Qaeda, death of terrorists is the most effective deterrent against their future action. Their fundamentalist fanaticism, not representative of the full meaning of Islam, cannot be supplanted by reasoned civilization. These jihadists seek only to destroy lives, not convince or compromise. Yet so many of our own emphatically and even violently demonstrate on behalf of Hamas by deflecting to a more gentile notion of Jewish eradication, “Free Palestine, from the river (Jordan) to the sea (Mediterranean)”. Thunberg and others who ally with Hamas by “standing” with the Palestinians should act more directly on their principles.
The Squad certainly could do so. If their main goal is to support the “innocent” people of Gaza and stop Israeli “genocide”, they can actually go physically stand with Gaza. As an unsanctioned Congressional delegation (which has happened before), the members of the Squad could travel as a group to and enter Gaza with humanitarian relief. Then they could have the duly elected government of Gaza, Hamas, tour them through the ruins of the north, including all the civilian facilities that accidentally coexist as military bases and storage depots. The Squad’s very presence would assure an immediate cease-fire on the part of the Israelis who would not want to endanger financial and military support from the U.S. Our Congressional imams would be able to demonstrate that Gazans wholly support their Hamas government, thereby undercutting the “inappropriate” labelling of that group by the colonialist and Islamophobic West as genocidal terrorists. Seeing the value in the courageous presence of the Squad, Hamas, with their help, might then seek to release their October 7th hostages in return for a few billion U.S. dollars at the going exchange rate already established with Iran. And thus Israel would be stymied from removing terrorists from their territories, both those of their nation and those they occupy. With the Squad remaining in Gaza (since with the Covid pandemic actual attendance for voting in the House of Representatives had been optional) Israel and the Palestinians might finally be coerced into a stalemate again. Why, the leftover unused wall materials from our southern border could be used to restore the separation of Gaza from Israel, and the Squad could arrange for any Gazans or members of Hamas who wish to to come across our southern border as temporarily protected refugees (on the usual permanent basis). Most of these folks could be resettled in the Congressional districts of the Squad members, thus reinforcing their continued presence in our Congress and assuring that further long term policies against the “criminal” self-defensive apartheid and anti-terrorist activities of Israel are maintained.
The Squad, by actually acting on their avowed principles, can change the face of the Mideast, although that may be at the expense of an “obsolete” Western-style parliamentary democracy. After all, Sharia law does not recognize such. And we should not recognize the Squad and others who “stand” with Hamas via support for a Palestinian return to pre-1948 status as anything other than fellow-travelers of the truly genocidal terrorists.
