The Iceberg Cometh

The disadvantage of some articles is that they may appear after crucial governmental events have already taken place.  Much of our focus must be on local issues as this is where citizens can have the most immediate impact.  These are the icebergs we can see.  But lurking below the surface are many larger issues that may sink our ship of state.  Biden’s nomination for Comptroller of the Currency, Saule Omarova, will tear the guts out of our democratic republic by sovietizing our banking system.  Having been raised and educated in the Soviet Union, she espouses ending our private banking system, with the Federal Reserve taking over all banking functions in our country to “rationalize” the use and movement of capital.  This new national bank would buy and sell stocks/bonds to be able to move the markets in the desired direction, and even take board of director positions at many large companies to better manage their affairs for the “common good”.  Her new national bank and its new bureau…
