Several thoughts about our latest proxy war in Ukraine from a watchful civilian with no sophistication in current matters of international relations or military preparedness (although I am an Air Force veteran and alumnus of the National Security Forum and the Air War College). One analyst, a retired Colonel who follows these events closely (https://www.bitchute.com/video/ERPzHg2edBJI/ ; https://www.theamericanconservative.com/worshipping-dead-horses/) predicts a Russian offensive before winter ("the next 30 days") to finish off Ukrainian resistance, and that Putin has no interest west of the Dnieper River. We will see who attacks first from the current standoff, as most western sources indicate that Russians are resting and refitting after devastating losses, and the Ukrainians wish to avoid allowing that by counterattacking soon.
